Meet Silver

Meet Silver Silver has been in and out of @sagahumane for the past year. A true free spirit, he once escaped the shelter and wandered the island of San Pedro for three months. No one could find him. His previous life was filled with neglect and abuse—but even after being rescued, Silver chose freedom on his own terms.

He was eventually found at a resort and brought back to the shelter, but his heart still longed to roam. He spent his days digging under the fence, always seeking something more. That’s when we knew: Silver didn’t belong behind barriers—he needed open skies and soft earth.

Now, Silver is headed to the Quinta, where five acres of safe, open land and a pack of new doggie friends await him. He’ll finally have the freedom he craves, with the safety and love he’s always deserved. 🐾

Silver adores people and gets along beautifully with other dogs. As a husky, he’s not built for the heat, but he’ll find plenty of shade under the trees and a cool dog house for his quiet moments.

He’s on the boat now to Mexico, alongside his brother Bluey—completely unaware that a new chapter of peace and happiness is about to begin.

Freedom and safety are finally his.
