Meet Maggie

This gentle soul came to us with her non-biological siblings, Annie & Billy. At first, I only planned to adopt Annie, but was quickly told that Billy couldn’t be left behind. And if I had the space… would I also take their caregiver, Maggie? Of course, being the softie I am, I said yes to all three.

Thanks to the amazing Jessica in San Miguel de Allende (not Mérida, as I first thought!) and the kindness of strangers who helped raise the funds for their flights, these three furry angels made their way safely here.

Maggie May is the gentlest of souls. She’s a little crybaby when things don’t go her way, loves rolling in sand and splashing in puddles, and prefers freedom to a dog house. When it rains, she hides in the cave—or behind the curtains if she’s inside.

Soft, floppy, and endlessly kind, Maggie is truly the sweetest dog at the Quinta. Thanks to her mischievous siblings Annie & Billy, she found her way to her forever home and the best life ever.
